Are you looking for that perfect honeymoon destination? If so then Mauritius is the perfect destination for you, its very name of conjures up images of tropical luxury, soft sands, gorgeous sightseeing places and stupendous extravagance.
If you’ve never been to Mauritius but have dreamed of spending your honeymoon there, you’re in for the trip of a lifetime. It isn’t hard to see why Mauritius is a favourite holiday destination for tourists and honeymooners. It ticks so many boxes for a variety of honeymooners with excellent all year round weather, luxurious hotels, white sandy beaches and beautiful panoramic views.
There is plenty to do in Mauritius apart from just relaxing in the sun on your Mauritius honeymoon. With so many amazing places to visit in Mauritius it can be hard to choose what places to see first, luckily I have put together the best places you must see whilst your on honeymoon in Mauritius.
Port Louis is the capital city of Mauritius and is one of the popular destinations that are visited by thousands of tourists and honeymooners. Couples have such an amazing time here discovering the rich culture of the city, its traditions and scenery. There is so much to see and do in the capital city for newlywed couples, from shopping to visiting museums and national monuments to sampling the unique cuisine that Mauritius has to offer.
Just off the coast of Mauritius is the Ile Aux Cerfs where you can envoy a fun-filled beach and water sport activates day, or you can simply sit back and relax on the secluded beaches. Couples can enjoy water sports such as sailing, a glass bottom boat tour, snorkelling and jet skiing.
