We are slowly approaching the autumn here in the UK and if you’re getting married this winter and have not yet chosen where you’re honeymoon destination will be, then don’t worry as I am here to help you out. With having the stress of planning the wedding all year, it is important to have a honeymoon. Not only to unwind from the stress of planning the wedding, but to spend some quality time together as a newly married couple.
Australia – has so much to offer a couple on their honeymoon it is such a popular romantic getaway as it suits almost every honeymooner because it has such a diverse range of things to do you can add so much variety to your honeymoon. One moment you could be exploring the Australian outback and discovering Ayres rock, then venturing out to Sydney for a tour of the Sydney opera house, or if you’re feeling brave, why not walk along the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and why not finish your honeymoon off with a trip to one of Australia’s beautiful islands. Somewhere such as the Lizard Island would be the perfect way to unwind and relax on honeymoon.
Fiji – is just simply one of the most beautiful countries in the world and the perfect honeymoon destination. The landscape of Fiji is one of pure fantasy; with waterfalls, rainforests, long stretches of white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue lagoons. If it is a luxury honeymoon that you’re after then Fiji simply has to be it. Your choice of resorts, activities and islands are huge, from the beautiful paradise island of Mamanuca to the island of Yasawas, everywhere you go beauty will surround you.
Tanzania and Zanzibar – is potentially Africa’s most beautiful country, it is so rich with its diverse range of wildlife and scenery. It boasts having one of the largest national parks in the world, the Serengeti national park. It is here where you can witness the migration Africa’s wildlife migrating from the upper hills of the country down to the southern plains.
If you’re an active couple then perhaps a climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro could possibly be on the cards? There can be no greater place to witness a sunrise than from the highest peak in Africa, it truly is a once in a lifetime experience.
You can always try your hand at scuba diving, Tanzania’s neighbouring islands (Zanzibar and Pemba) host a Technicolor of marine life, making it the perfect place to try your hand at snorkelling and scuba diving.
